Caitlin & Niek {Lennox Head Wedding Photographer}

If you were around Lennox Head on Sunday & you saw a few signs like these, you may have suspected something special was in the air. If so you would have been right as Caitlin Witt married Niek van Oers on a hot & breezy but sublime day over looking the spectacular Lennox coastline.

Niek hails from a very small village in The Netherlands, Ruurlo. Since meeting Caitlin four years ago in Hong Kong his life has changed forever in more than few ways. He refuses to wear shoes ( Sunday being an exception of course!) plays rugby & cricket & does strange things with schooner glasses (apparently!)

By all accounts Niek, coming from the open minded yet, ordered society in The Netherlands is fascinated by certain elements of chaos we have in Australia, such as father in law Brian’s shed. I know you didn’t want any posed photos so thank you for being a sport Niek!

Some very special guests arrived from Spain, Sinterklaas ( aka Kees & Lidy ).

They came bearing many gifts, even Niek’s first tooth, as a present to Caitlin!

The band for the afternoon, The Blue Hula’s were the most fun imaginable. It was a shame they had to stop. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants no fuss, just infectious grooves & something to move the whole party!

What a fantastic day, a celebration of love & life, friendship’s & beautiful families. Personal touches & big personalities everywhere. We can’t thank the Witt’s or the van Oer’s enough for inviting us into such an fun atmosphere. May your lives always be colourful & filled with beauty.
