If you have been to or photographed a Tea Ceremony you will have an understanding of the emotion, the colour & the fun they bring as tea is offered to the elders of the two families in order of seniority, & then Lai Si & jewellery is offered to the couple by parents, uncles & Aunties. The sheer weight of emotion in those moments is astonishing & is one of the clearest expressions of love & respect for those who have raised you I can imagine.

But before that we have the games  …. Mike ( MT3 ) with his movie star looks & smooth presence along with Choy ( his Cupcake Princess )  lit up a dazzling Gold Coast morning windswept & wet with tears of love, gratitude & joy with both their amazing families fairly in the forefront of their minds & a raucous collection of loved ones from al over Australia, the Far East & the world.

Games were designed by the girls for the boys and at least you know the groom is going to do whatever it takes for his bride to be happy if he is willing to let his groomsmen slurp vodka from his belly button at 8 am just so he get inside & start the wedding !

Of course this was just the beginning of things on this vast day & these are a taster of what is to come in Part 2 …
