Man I loved this wedding, this day …. I could just go on & on …. it’s lucky I took some photographs ….. If there is such a thing then you could say this is a blueprint for a ” backyard ” wedding, everything was just so perfect & yet so understated.
It would be a struggle to repeat this one though as the McIntyre family home has a gentle slope down from the home with incredible views to Border Ranges & this was the middle of our glorious North Coast winter (#laterblog) with crisp days, a hint of a thunderstorm – the photographers best friend – that gave way to a golden, blazing sunset, a gentle enveloping dusk & a chilly night where it was best to keep dancing to warm your bones …. For all the beauty though it was of course the people who coloured this, the beautiful McIntyres & the Taylors ( see dancing ) wonderful Debbie Guest steering the ceremony ship ( & considering red for a hair colour ) & most of all Julia, who tied up her beautiful, but muddy wedding dress with some hay bale twine to keep dancing & Paul who never stopped laughing & taking the p@#s all day long.
Just …. thanks for having a wedding like this & being so true to yourselves – you both have wonderful family & friends & I am so grateful to have met you along with little Luca & big brother Aiden. I look forward to hearing when the new arrival is here & whatever adventures you all get up to.
Best wishes & love Ben, Jodie. Elsie & Maudie xoxo .jpg?x91686)
