And there we were, in Riverwood Downs on the perimeter of the wonderful Barrington Tops National Park photographing one hell of a fun day with Marissa & Chris. And all because of a Lismore Connection …. I met Marissa’s parents at Kristy & Kane’s wedding last year & based on that day I knew this was going to be a blast ! All of Chris’s groomsmen were brothers & uncles & about 75% of the guests were family. You know these are tight knit families. And at the centre of it all, beautiful little Dakota, laughing, yawning & smiling all day right the way through to the cutting of the cake for her naming ceremony where she took the topper out with one blow of her little hand.

My reputation as the Fine Weather Talisman has taken a beating this year. Yet on this day, when it began raining as the ceremony commenced & didn’t stop until the early hours of the morning, no-one cared – least of all these two & in fact it made things better, as it usually does.

Riverwood Downs has many awesome things that could be said about it – such as there is an entire printed menu for dogs at the onsite cafe – woof woof ! There is no mobile reception at all so you can out your phone down. And when you marry there your reception will be in a massive great big barn with soaring ceilings & no limit to the amount of noise you can make & ( almost ) for how long you can make it !

So rather than me go on have a look for yourself – you can almost hear Marissa’s shrill laughter & feel Chris’s 1000 watt smile through your screen.
